Junior Programs
Junior Golf We are proud to present a junior program that offers an innovative approach that is designed to foster a love of both the game and learning. Every aspect of the game is covered in all classes from etiquette to technique and care of the golf course. In 2006 our junior program produced some of the best young golfers in the region; eight were named to the “all area” list, with two finishing in the top 10 at the US Kids World Championships. In 2007, our juniors won more than 35 tournaments. Hartefeld juniors won both the boys and girls Pennsylvania High School East Regional tournament. One of our kids is #3 on the IJGT rankings. 2008 saw 2 of our students victorious in the Delaware State Boys and Girls Jr. Championship. In all, we have 30 competitive juniors taking lessons at Hartefeld. Four of our Juniors are currently on Golf Scholarships at the Universities of Delaware and Maryland. In 2009 two students finished 2nd and 7th in the Delaware Amateur and 1st and 10th in the Delaware State Men’s Open. Additionally one of the 12 year old Juniors' was recognized by the Philadelphia PGA as Junior Golfer of the Year in his age division for 16 victories in sanctioned events.
