The Hartefeld National Philosophy of Instruction

To play the game well and really enjoy yourself on the course, you do not necessarily have to know “the golf swing”, and you certainly don’t have to have a perfect swing. You simply must be able to predict the outcome of your swing. Of course, you must have sound basics: Grip, Aim, Stance, and Posture, but beyond these key ingredients, you must understand how the club and ball work. Our approach to teaching golf is to help you “see” the club and ball interaction so that you can actually influence it. We will help you develop your way of playing your best, not just show you our way and force you to conform to it. You’ll find out that golf really can be fun!

Over the past 20years, our Director of Golf, PGA  Professional Bob Munkittrick, has developed a unique approach to teaching and learning golf that is based on finding each individual student’s best way of playing the game.
When you come to Hartefeld, we welcome you whether you are a beginner or tour player. You will be treated with respect. Your experience will be fun and productive. You will not be made to feel stupid when you don’t understand something: On the contrary, our teachers see it as their job to make sure you do understand.
Using state-of-the-art computer/video technology, Hartefeld’s teaching staff, trained by Bob Munkittrick, will evaluate your technique and give you the understanding, the visualization and the feel you need to truly know your own golf swing.
